A toast to our vineyards!
First place for our Weinviertel DAC Reserve Ried Laa 8000! 🎉 Falstaff tasted the highest quality of Grüner Veltliner wines from the Weinviertel region. 4th place achieved our Ried Kirchengarten and 7th place the Ried Kronberg. Our wines are one of the best in the region – we couldn't be prouder of our vineyards!
What makes Ried Laa 8000 so special?
8.000 vines per hectare, planted on chalky soil. The high density forces the roots deeper into the earth, where they find more water and nutrients. This extra work results in fewer grapes, which we then reduce even further. The remaining grapes are exceptionally concentrated in flavor. Spontaneous fermentation and exclusive contact with stainless steel tanks reflect the terroir perfectly.
