8000 Ried Laa

8000 vines were planted per hectare (double of normal density in Austria) in this vineyard with chalky soil. The roots have to grow deeper for more water and nutrient. Because of this additional effort the vines produce less grapes, but these are more concentrated in taste. The wine was spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Große Reserve Ried Laa

The fresh pressed juice from the 8000 was filled in small wooden barrels and also spontaneously fermented. This wine rests one more year in the cellar and therefore is a very special wine, with just a small hint of wooden taste.

Ried Kirchengarten

This vineyard is one of the highest in the Weinviertel with nearly 400m above sea level. It is situated directly next to the 1.000 year old church, which gives our village it's name. Hohe Warte means high point of view. We are 200m higher than the Danube, so our wines profit from freshness and elegance. Also spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Ried Kronberg

This Ried owns this name for more than 200 years. Sandy soil and a beautiful long slope. The wine was also spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks. All our Reserven are handled the same way in the cellar to show you the different soils and vineyards in the glass.

Ried Kreimelberg

In this vineyard live our oldest vines, which were planted over 60 years ago. The soil is pure gravel and holds very little water and nutrient. This is the perfect soil for Roter Veltliner, which grows too intense on rich soils.

Setzer 400

The rosé for foodpairing! This wine was fermented and matured for several months in a small wooden barrel. Compact structure, long finish, but still with freshness and light colour. The vines grow between 300 and 400m above sea level.
