Harvest 2025
And we're already in the middle. Hard to believe, but a lot is already bubbling in the cellar. We started quickly, thinking ripeness would arrive sooner than we'd like, but then things slowed down. With the ground frost the vineyards appeared somehow glamorous for a short period of time. Long days and some breaks due to rain are now on the agenda.
This week, among other wines, we harvested our Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC Hohenwarth. Our village wine reflects the sandy, light soils of our town. Juicy, fruity, complex, and the full glass is quickly vanished.
