Weinviertel DAC Reserve Ried Kirchengarten
This Ried is situated directly next to the nearly 1000 years old church. Our village is named after it, the Hohe Warte (=high point of view). This vineyard is one of the highest in the Weinviertel and is affected by cool winds from North-West and from sandstone. Every year this wine is recognizable by exotic fruits, like mango or papaya.

Weinviertel DAC Reserve 8000 Ried Laa
| |
8000 vines per hectare were planted on chalky soil in our best Ried. Due to high density the vines have to grow deeper into the ground, where more nutrients and water wait. Less grapes grow, because of this extra work and we reduce them too. So the harvested grapes are very concentrated. This wine is powerful and spicy but still elegant. It's the estate's flagship!

Ried Kreimelberg
Here grows are beloved Roter Veltliner. Kreimel means gravel, which you find several meters in the ground. It holds little nutrients and water. Therefore is the soil rated with 18 from 100 possible points regarding the supply of nutrients. Exactly here is a perfect spot for Roter Veltliner, because the variety grows like a bush! The vines starve and the grape's quality increases. The vines are over 60 years old.
