Labour-intensive time
Before winemakers can go on holiday, a lot of work needs to be done. Going up to 35 degree Celsius/95 degree Fahrenheit this is a sweaty time. But we put a lot of effort into our vineyards to harvest the best quality possible. |

Growth
Junior boss Eugen takes loving care of the vines. During summer we work hard for the best quality of our grapes.
Leaves are removed from around the grapes to ensure better ventilation and more sun exposure. The shoots need to be fixed into the wire frame and cut off before they get too long. But the greening on the ground is also growing diligently. In order to keep the competition for water as low as possible we mulch it. Our best vineyards receive an extra portion of love, because we reduce the number of grapes here to give the rest a more intensive taste.

Rain
Hot and humid air brings storms - the sky sometimes looks pretty wild. This year we already received 360mm of rain, which is above average (source: Hagelversicherung).

Bee Food
Enough water and plenty of sun, perfect conditions for the growth of all kinds of plants in the vineyard! Our trees, herbs, bushes, etc. bloom and hum.
